Perfect partner for skinny jeans or leggings - or layer over thick tights and a jumper/sweater for cooler days. The subtle texture comes from two carefully selected yarns knitted together - so each one is slightly different.
Options are open front (waistcoat style) or closed front (dress/tunic).
On the open front version - no fastenings means you can chose to fasten high or low, or wear it open. in some of the pictures I’ve used my button brooches and decorated kilt pins (see more here: button brooches and kilt pins, or use one from your own brooch collection).
The closed front option can be worn as a dress, or as a tunic over trousers or leggings.
More about my swing dresses and waistcoats…
These women’s swing dresses have a lovely drape and are easy to wear. They are knitted in 50% viscose 25% cotton 12.5% linen 12.5% acrylic.
They are fully washable and easy to look after. No need to dry clean.
See garment care for details.

Who can wear my swing dresses and waistcoats?
these dresses are a flowy flattering style so they are good for most body shapes as they skim over the ‘lumps and bumps’(!)
they are flattering if you have an ‘apple’ body shape - that is, if you have a less defined waist, and/or perhaps a longer waist - because these dresses have longer fuller skirts
in my case I’m the classic British pear shape - narrow shoulders and wider hips - so I absolutely love wearing my swing dresses as they disguise the bits I prefer to keep hidden…
How to wear my swing dresses and waistcoats?
the deep armholes and v neckline make it easy to layer these over polos and other warmer tops in autumn/winter, but also comfortable to wear over a silky blouse
wear it as a dress over a camisole
layer it over another (longer) dress
wear as a tunic over trousers, leggings, or thick tights
dress it up with jewellery and chic sandals or down with chunky sneakers or trainers

Model in pictures 1-3 & 'invisible mannequin' = approx UK size 10 wearing medium and are approx 5’7”
Model in picture 4 and 5 bust measurement 100cm (UK 14/16) wearing medium plus and is approx 5’5”
In picture 6 customer wears a bespoke small tunic
Standard length is good on heights 5'3" to 5'10"
Length at centre back varies slightly between each batch of yarn (approx 80-85cm). I’m happy to measure the length before sending if that would be helpful - just let me know
Find your size on my size guide or ask me for advice (it’s best to check your current measurements so you choose the right size)
If you would like me to advise on size/fit, please get in touch with your height, bust measurement, and the colour you are interested in
If you are between sizes, I recommend going to the next size up, which also allows for both Summer and Winter layers to be worn underneath
With apologies, large and small sizes are now sold out.
-
Currently I have medium and medium plus sizes in stock in all colours, but in some cases, only one or two remain
Small and large are sold out and no longer available (one of the yarns I use for these has been discontinued)
