East Molesey handmade women's knitwear suits Theo Paphitis

‘Original contemporary knitwear for real women of all ages, shapes and sizes’

The above was my winning tweet to Theo Paphitis

Theo Paphitis gives Susan Holton Knitwear an #SBS boost

Retail entrepreneur and ex-dragon Theo Paphitis gave my Surrey-based handmade women's knitwear business a Twitter Boost when I became one of his #SBS (Small Business Sunday) winners last year. #SBS (Small Business Sunday) is a weekly competition set up by retail entrepreneur and self-confessed shopkeeper Theo Paphitis. Theo re‐tweets 6 winning businesses each week to his almost 500,000 followers and offers business and PR support to #SBS winners as part of his enthusiastic and multi-faceted support for UK small businesses.

I wrote a piece about Theo Paphitis and #SBS when I won the competition last year, and you can read a little more information there.

My #SBS winners certificate

I was proud to be awarded my #SBS winners certificate by Theo in person at the winners conference in Birmingham earlier this year.

#SBS winners now number nearly two thousand, and sell thousands of different products, from unique gifts and bespoke women’s knitwear to pet toys and jewellery. And we all know that we have Theo’s support and encouragement behind us.

The Elmbridge Magazine press coverage

I am delighted that one of my stylish local Magazines  - The Elmbridge Magazine - wrote a piece on my handmade knitwear and my #SBS win. I love their title choice: 'Jumper for Joy' (I would never have thought of that...). It has been lovely to have recognition of my win locally in East Molesey

“We are thrilled to welcome new #SBS members every week and highlight just how important it is to support our small businesses here in the UK.  My vision is that everyone who has ever won an #SBS re-tweet from me becomes part of a friendly club; like-minded individuals who can share successes and learnings. The website and Shop #SBS will also give a valuable profile to the winners chosen and I wish Susan Holton Knitwear every success”.
