Browse beautiful handmade knitwear and more… shop small and local at Surrey Artists Open Studios 2019

How is it made? See knitting and knitwear, dyeing, jewellery, enamelling and leatherwork in progress

Surrey Artists Open Studios happens every year during the first half of June, and it’s a wonderful opportunity to visit artists and makers at work in their studios in and around Surrey. In June 2019 I again opened my studio to the public as part of this wonderful event, and this year my maker-guests were Linda Connelly who creates beautiful enamels inspired by her travels, Gabriella Sellors who uses precious metals and pearls in her textured silver jewellery, and Phaedra Menas who uses high quality, brightly coloured leathers to make her leather accessories.

The 2019 Summer Open Studios event was the biggest to date, with 180 studios and 297 artists/makers taking part. When you visit artists in their studios you get a much greater insight into how they actually create their work, combined with an opportunity to support and encourage artists in your local community. You too can #shopsmall #shoplocal and #shopindependant!

‘Excellent range of interesting pieces... great selection, I will be back!

Meet the makers at work and have a go

We had some lovely visitors and (mostly) good weather… they ‘had a go’, asked questions, browsed and tried things on. Our visitors enjoyed themselves… and so did we! And some of our visitors treated themselves to some lovely examples of our work.

Surrey Artists Open Studios is now over again for another year

But you can visit my studio at any time by appointment. As long as you give me enough notice you will be able to see my workroom and whatever work is in progress, and browse my current collection and my sale rail when available.

To make an appointment just send me an email with some dates and times which will be convenient for you, and I’ll get back to you with a confirmed date and time.
