  • Knitted clothes and accessories are probably the perfect example of ‘slow fashion’. I believe that we should choose the clothing we buy carefully, select items which will last, ideally keep them for years, and know how to look after each piece.

    And because I knit only very small quantities of each piece, wastage is reduced, and production is more sustainable. Nothing is made in the far east, everything is handmade in Britain, slowly and carefully, and made to last.

    I’m delighted to say that some of my customers are still wearing knits they bought from me 20 years ago.

More about my women’s oversized knit jumper…

There’s no wool, so no itch. It’s soft and light, the relaxed fit makes it a very forgiving style and easy to layer, eg over thermals in cold weather or light vest/camisole tops in warmer weather. It has bracelet length sleeves and a soft neckline and collar.

They are fully washable and easy to look after. No need to dry clean. See garment care for details.
