There’s no wool, so no itch. It’s soft and light, the relaxed fit makes it a very forgiving style and easy to layer, eg over thermals in cold weather or light vest/camisole tops in warmer weather. It has bracelet length sleeves and a soft neckline and collar.
They are fully washable and easy to look after. No need to dry clean. See garment care for details.

Knitted clothes and accessories are probably the perfect example of ‘slow fashion’. I believe that we should choose the clothing we buy carefully, select items which will last, ideally keep them for years, and know how to look after each piece.
And because I knit only very small quantities of each piece, wastage is reduced, and production is more sustainable. Nothing is made in the far east, everything is handmade in Britain, slowly and carefully, and made to last.
I’m delighted to say that some of my customers are still wearing knits they bought from me 20 years ago.

Delivery/shipping to UK mainland is currently free for full price items. If your item is in stock I usually dispatch in 2-3 days of receiving your order. Delivery within the UK usually takes 3-5 days from dispatch. Worldwide delivery takes longer than delivery within the UK. You can find more detailed information on my shipping/delivery/returns page.
Destinations outside the UK add the cost of shipping at checkout. For some destinations customs duties and other tariffs may be added before or after delivery. This is not under my control and these costs cannot be refunded under any circumstances. You can find details on all of the above on my delivery/shipping/returns page. These jumpers are knit in 88% cotton 12% silk.
I am gradually replacing my non-organic cottons with organic cottons. These jumpers currently use a mixture of organic and non-organic.

These jumpers fit a range of sizes from small (approx UK 10) to large (approx UK 18). Please see the actual garment measurements in the diagram.
One person’s ‘nice loose fit’ will be someone else’s ‘too large’ and the fit will also depend on what you choose to wear underneath the garment.
Because a ‘good fit’ is such a personal decision I give actual garment measurements in the diagram so you can make a comparison with your favourite jumper or sweater.

I recommend that you hand wash in tepid water (not hot) using a gentle non-biological washing powder/cleanser. Rinse thoroughly.
As an alternative to hand washing, if your washing machine has a reliable delicate/gentle programme you can use this to wash your sweater at a low temperature using a gentle non-biological cleanser. Pop it in a laundry bag or pillow slip if you are washing it with other items so nothing can catch on it to damage it.
To dry your sweater you can spin it on a slower speed and/or roll or squeeze it gently in a towel to remove most of the water.
Lay it flat (eg on a towel) to dry fully. If needed you can gently ease it into shape and size while it’s still damp. And also if needed you can pat the edges into shape.
