This cocoon dress has an unusual silhouette which gives an oversized, relaxed and elegant fit across a range of sizes. The viscose rich yarn gives these cocoon dresses a lovely drape and flow, and I knit them in gorgeous rich colours - many of which I dye - including lime, warm red, deep turquoise, purple and more.

A light dress/tunic, oversized and loose which makes it easy to layer - so you can also wear it throughout the year. I overdye these tunics to enhance the little flecks or ‘knopps’ of toning colour and texture, to take it a step up from the everyday. I knit and finish my knitwear on my vintage domestic knitting machine at my home-studio in Surrey UK, so everything is handmade, finely crafted and never mass produced.

Oversized, knitted in 65% viscose 35% acrylic. The high viscose content gives them the lovely drape.
They are fully washable and easy to look after. No need to dry clean.

Ways to wear my cocoon dress or tunic…
it’s a light summer dress in hot weather
my choice in summer is usually to treat it as a tunic and wear it over linen trousers and a camisole top in a toning or contrasting colour
when it’s cooler you can add a light slip or slip dress underneath
for much cooler days wear it over a long sleeve top (a thermal top if/when needed!) and trousers, leggings or thick tights
